    Wyrd Sisters is believed to be inspired by a Jacobean stage play entitled 'Macbeth', the author of which is thought to be some chap called Shakespeare. (Or was it Holinshed)? You cannot, indeed must not, believe everything you hear or read. It seems there are some weird sisters who open the production! (Sorry, did I type weird? I meant wyrd).
