Simon Young's production of "Twelfth Night" is set during the 1940 Battle of Britain. Orsino is cast as a fighter pilot and Olivia is a lady of the manor, while Viola and her twin brother Sebastian, find themselves shipwrecked on allied shores.
Director Simon Young says: "I wanted to make sure it was accessible. "Some interpretations in the past have made it impossible for you to believe Viola is pretending to be a man. "I wanted to do something people could identify with, so I set it during 1940 and the Battle of Britain so I could put Viola in a man's uniform."
